is this what it has come down to??? jay staying at home to watch the kids!!! and missing the party!!!! oh my love ...
by the way, those men are looking GOOOOOD.
on a totally unrelated subject - Navid is on vacation in oregon with his family. today he went to an international grocery store - and guess what he is bringing back for me? red oil and fufu corn! god alone knows what i am going to do with it :) heheheh any ideas?
Aiii!! Are you kidding me? That is wonderful. Keep the red oil for when you get some eru to prepare (they don't go bad). As for the fufu corn, make some spinach "njama njama". You know, fry some tomatoes, onion, fresh ginger and garlic and pepper with some smoked turkey. Add in squeezed frozen chopped spinach (from Wal-Mart) and steer in. Leave to simmer for a while, and voila! You have fufu and njama njama!
I forgot to talk about the party...Oh yes, dear, many sacrifices to make when you have a baby:) Everyone wanted me to take him along (they don't seem to have any qualms with the loud music booming in a small child's ear drums all night...but I do), so I said no. Watched movies and had a good evening myself. Besides I watched the other two kids present. You say "men" in the picture...did you recognize my two 17-year old cousins from Pays, Ma Angeline's twins who used to live with us. See how big they've grown?
