December 8, 2009 ~
Amongst the wonderful occurrences of 2009, Springdale, Arkansas, Cluster became an A cluster. When we received the letter from the Regional Baha'i Council of the South Central States, the first thing I thought to myself: did they make a mistake and mean to send this letter to another community? It seemed like only a few months ago (February 2009) we were a B cluster and we have come so far since then. Then my second thought was about all the wonderful work that lay ahead. Like the House of Justice said: "...Every steadfast believer is called to a faith and determination, a commitment to unity and sacrifice that will lift the Cause to a new stage in its development. May all find a pat to play..."

Sabs & Nach Marry
More wonderful things in 2009 ~
December 2009 - Sahba Frooghi and Nachida Tchameni, very close friends from Cameroon, tied the knot. Weh, may God abundantly shower them with His blessings. There they are with my parents. [Thanks for the photo, Dad.] And in the last picture, Sahba's sister and my good childhood friend, Sahar, poses with my parents.

Leslie Farrell Gets Married
One has much to be thankful for the past year, 2009.
Amongst the numerous wonderful things that happened during the year, my dear friend, Leslie, got married. She and I served in Haifa, Israel in the Office of the International Teaching Center. In fact she trained me. We had such good times together and have kept in touch ever since.

Jayron is 4 months old!
Thanksgiving in OKC
November 26-29 ~
This was Jayron's first Thanksgiving, and he loved it. You seee, as long as Jayron is carried, he will not cry. There were so many people at ma Kona's for Thanksgiving that Jayron was never put down. More so, he was fascinated by all the new faces. He never cried. And now he laughs a lot, so everyone just loved him. [Ofcourse that spoiling got me into trouble when we later returned to Arkansas and I needed to put Jayron down for a bit:)]

With ma Kona
...and Ba Tita
With Leh
With our dear friend, Beth.
Jayron's Visitors from Dallas
Weekend of November 14 ~
Jayron has visitors. Janice, Martin, Beverly and Joshua. It's amazing how much children like smaller children. I guess it makes them feel great that there is someone smaller than they are and they can take care of them for a change!:)
